The New York Public Library is more than the materials and special collections housed in its 91 locations throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island: it’s an embodiment of the collective knowledge held by its staff of more than 3,200 librarians, curators, conservators, and others. NYPL TV provides a window onto the Library as our staff share their expertise and passion through videos, audio, and slideshows. Here you will also find multimedia files from some of the more than 25,000 free public programs that the Library offers each year. Many programs are educational, relying on the knowledge and skills of librarians, while others showcase leading authors and public figures.
