Joining Toshi Reagon and BIGLovely are some of her favorite singers: Helga Davis, Morley, Josette Marchak, Karma Mayet Johnson, Judith Casselberry, and Marcelle Davies Lashley.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Washington DC, Toshi Reagon cites her musical abilities from her family. Bernice Johnson Reagon is not only Toshi’s mom but the founder of the world renowned a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey In The Rock. She has earned countless rave reviews in the years that she has been performing. Toshi is an artist who’s known for energetic performances and an exemplary gift for writing engaging songs that provoke listeners to think and have fun at the same time.

The Schomburg Center celebrates Women's History Month with another series of extraordinary concerts with extremely talented female artists on March 1, March 8, March 15, and March 22.
