The Bronx Borough President's Office assists constituents to address various needs such as housing, immigration referrals, sanitation, and neighborhood safety complaints, among other quality of life issues. The unit is staffed by a group of well-seasoned professionals, who work with each constituent on an individual basis to find solutions to their problems. The busiest unit in the entire agency, the Ombudsman’s Unit welcomes constituents to file complaints in person, Monday Through Friday by appointment only. Requests for assistance can also be made via telephone during regular business hours. The Organization of Latino Entrepreneurs (Olé) is dedicated to developing resources to support Latino business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs through one-on-one management assistance and educational programs in Spanish and/or English. Olé supports the creation of small businesses and supports efficient business practices for the benefit of the Latin American community. All services and resources are available in Spanish and in English. Olé is part of the New York State Small Business Development Center (NYSSBDC) network with locations in all five boroughs and in the counties surrounding New York City. The Partnership for New York City mobilizes private sector resources and expertise to advance New York City's standing as a global center of economic opportunity, upward mobility, and innovation. It is a nonprofit organization whose 330 members are business leaders and companies that employ more than 1 million New Yorkers. The Partnership and the coalitions it forged during the pandemic have developed new programs to inform and accelerate recovery, including: the Homeless Assistance Fund, the Small Business Resource Network, Transit Tech Lab: COVID-19 Recovery Challenge, and quarterly economic status reports.

The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) offers one-on-one assistance and training to help businesses in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Rockland, Suffolk, and Nassau counties that are interested in local, state, and federal government contracting.  Services include: introduction to government contracting, certifications and contracting assistance programs, doing business with General Services Administration, navigating the System for Award Management (SAM), contract accounting, responding to RFPs/Proposal Writing,  and many more. 

Located at the SoBRO Center in the South Bronx, SoBro's Procurement technical assistance center provides a wide range of assistance - free of charge to businesses through one-on-one counseling sessions, classes, seminars and matchmaking  events. The PTAC helps local businesses find opportunities to bid on government contracting work, and provides assistance throughout the process. PTAC clients represent a diverse set of sectors and include architectural firms, construction and building trade companies, manufacturing, food industry information technology, and financial services businesses.

Professional Women In Construction (PWC)is a non-profit member association for entrepreneurs, professionals and managers (women & men) and companies and public agencies engaged in construction and allied industries. Mission: to advance the status of business and professional women in a male-dominated industry and educate the public regarding women's achievements. The organization offers business networking events, a newsletter, trade show & recruitment fair, referrals, workshops in trends of the industry and certification information for woman and minority-owned firms. Qualitas of Life is a non-profit organization that provides financial education to Hispanic immigrant families in New York. Qualitas of Life facilitates immigrants' access to financial literacy programs and financial services. Qualitas' financial education workshops began in 2007 and they have expanded to teach workshops in community centers in all five boroughs of New York City and beyond.

This office supports economic development throughout the borough through a variety of programs and initiatives. To assist businesses with location planning, it provides data on neighborhoods in the borough. Information on economic incentive programs is also available. The office assists business in dealing with government agencies and provides referrals to specialized services.
