Summer Reading 2012: Grand Central Comic Extravaganza

Do you sometimes wonder where all these superhero movies come from? Are you new to comics or a lifelong fan? Join us for a celebration of all things comic and super! (super hero, that is).

11:00 am – Toon Town: Comic Books and New York City by Kent Worcester
12:30 pm – Manga drawing instruction with Ivan Velez
2:00 pm – Comic Trivia with Geeks Out
4:00 pm – Marvel Editor Comic Panel, featuring Alex Segura – VP of marketing for Archie Comics and Greg Pak – X-Men writer

Interested in showing your work at the Grand Central Library’s first ever Comic Extravaganza?

Submit a sample of your work online to publicprogramming@nypl.org to begin the application process. Sample must be jpg or pdf. Not all applicants will be eligible for space. Exhibitors must agree to abide by NYPL's art exhibition and installation rules and standards.
