November 10, 2012

Program Locations:

The life of the French pirate, Captain Francois Misson, anticipated by a century the underlying philosophy and vast social changes of the French Revolution.  Misson became a pirate not just to plunder but also to free slaves & start a state called Libertalia on the island of Madagascar based on the then unknown principles of Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite.  Micheal Dale will recount the important events of this through his own compositions on guitar & dulcimer.  Music & narrative will be accompanied by power point.
