AABDC assists U.S. and Chinese businesses to identify and develop trans-national business and marketing opportunities. It organizes trade missions, seminars and workshops, and facilitates in-depth exploration and implementation of cross-border business development strategies and operations in the U.S. and China.
Affiliated with the Business Outreach Center [BOC] Network and sponsored by the Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation, the Greater Newark Business Outreach Center [BOC] offers a variety of services to small business owners and to entrepreneurs. These services include business plan development, access to financing, marketing, import / export information, entrepreneurial training and licensing and permit information. The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce
[CACCI] is a not-for-profit organization that promotes economic development among Caribbean-American / African-American, and other minority entrepreneurs. CACCI provides business development seminars, technical assistance, referrals, and training programs in how to start, operate, and manage a business. CACCI's Comprehensive Business Resource Center [separately listed and described] provides a variety of business services and programs. CACCI's international programs include trade missions and trade expositions to the Caribbean region, and international roundtable forums.
The Caribbean Trade Center's mission is to develop, promote and sustain trade and investment between New York, the United States, the Caribbean Region and the international community. Services include: Trade missions to the Caribbean Region and other international venues, meeting with key government and business leaders; Acting as a Clearing House for Trade and Investment Opportunities; Business-to-business interface via electronic membership database; Promotion of global e-commerce opportunities via CTC website; and Participation in specialty trade exhibitions, conferences and cultural programs in partnership with Caribbean trade promotion organizations.

EWVIDCO serves industrial businesses located in Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick. It offers general business development assistance; real estate, financing; ombudsman services; and employment job training and placement services through its affiliate Williamsburg Works. EWVIDCO manages the NYC North Brooklyn Industrial Business Zone and the Greenpoint-Williamsburg Industrial Business Zones, Williamsburg Valley In-Place Industrial Park, listed separately, and the NYS North Brooklyn / Brooklyn Navy Yard Empire Zone.
The Harlem U. S. Export Assistance Center [USEAC]- serving Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens - is staffed with experienced, professional trade experts who can assist you in exporting your products/services by providing comprehensive counseling and advice, through timely and accurate intelligence regarding foreign markets, by identifying qualified international buyers and representatives, by advocating on your behalf, and by providing comprehensive solutions to whatever challenges that you may encounter.
NEXCO is an international trade association that sponsors monthly seminars and webinars that provide pertinent and timely information to importers, exporters, freight forwarders, bankers, attorneys, accountants, and any other professional engaged in global trade. NEXCO members have interests in insurance, international banking, freight forwarding, trade law, customs brokerage, trade software and e-commerce. They are large and small, American, foreign and multinational.
NMBC is a networking and referral organization for small women- and minority-owned businesses. It is dedicated to providing business assistance, educational opportunities, seminars, purchasing exchanges, mentoring, business listings, and related services to businesses throughout the tri-sate area and across the nation. Members are listed in a directory that is sent to corporate and government purchasing agents. NMBC also offers general technical assistance and networking events to its members. Annual membership is $375. NMBC is currently offering on a quarterly basis an Entrepreneurial Boot Camp specifically designed for individuals transitioning from employee to entrepreneur and for new entrepreneurs who have been in business less than two (2) years. The NYS Trade Adjustment Assistance Center sponsored by the US Department of Commerce - assists NY State manufacturers respond to import competition. The Center partners with manufacturers, offering a 50-50 cost-sharing of projects designed to improve a firm's overall competitiveness. The Center's funds are directly applied to the costs of professional consultants, engineers, and other outside service providers hired on behalf of the firm to develop and implement action improvement programs.
