The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce [CACCI] is a not-for-profit organization that promotes economic development among Caribbean-American / African-American, and other minority entrepreneurs. CACCI provides business development seminars, technical assistance, referrals, and training programs in how to start, operate, and manage a business. CACCI's Comprehensive Business Resource Center [separately listed and described] provides a variety of business services and programs. CACCI's international programs include trade missions and trade expositions to the Caribbean region, and international roundtable forums.
The National Association of Women Business Owners of New York City (NAWBO-NYC)
NEXCO is an international trade association that sponsors monthly seminars and webinars that provide pertinent and timely information to importers, exporters, freight forwarders, bankers, attorneys, accountants, and any other professional engaged in global trade. NEXCO members have interests in insurance, international banking, freight forwarding, trade law, customs brokerage, trade software and e-commerce. They are large and small, American, foreign and multinational.

New York Building Congress [NYBC] is a private association that promotes a common agenda among the design, construction, and real estate industry of New York. New York's building community includes contractors, architects, engineers, unions, real estate managers, developers, and owners. NYBC focuses on economic and infrastructure investment, job creation, and professional exchange.

The New York State Restaurant Association [NYSRA] is a non-for-profit trade association working to promote, represent and educate the food service industy of New York State. NYSRA acts an an industry liaison with regulatory agencies that govern the commercial food service industry. NYSRA also acts as the "legislative watchdog" and is the official voice of the food service industry.

This mission positions NYSRA to promote the hospitality profession, while serving and representing its members and their customers through advocacy, innovation, and education.

 

The Partnership is a nonprofit membership organization comprised of a select group of two hundred CEOs - its Partners - from New York City's top corporate, investment and entrepreneurial firms. The Partnership focuses on research, policy formulation and issue advocacy at the city, state, and federal levels. Through its affiliate, The Partnership Fund for New York City, the Partnership directly invests in economic development projects in all five boroughs of the city. The Partnership serves as a resource of expertise and creative thinking for the public, sponsers economic impact studies, conducts business surveys, and convenes task force panels and conferences for Partners, economic experts, public officials and other constituencies concerned with economic development.

Professional Women In Construction (PWC)is a non-profit member association for entrepreneurs, professionals and managers (women & men) and companies and public agencies engaged in construction and allied industries. Mission: to advance the status of business and professional women in a male-dominated industry and educate the public regarding women's achievements. The organization offers business networking events, a newsletter, trade show & recruitment fair, referrals, workshops in trends of the industry and certification information for woman and minority-owned firms. The Subcontractors Trade Association promotes and protects the interests of subcontractors. The Association conducts regularly scheduled membership meetings and seminars.

The Pratt Center's NYIRN project provides business development services to NYC manufacturers, including: real estate and incentive program referrals, marketing assistance, sourcing services, educational programming energy efficiency grants and more. The Pratt Center works for a more just, equitable, and sustainable city for all New Yorkers by empowering manuafacturing stakeholdes through open and inclusive decision-making that brings together labor, community, business and government to address economic policy issues, develop programs, and deliver services.
