AABDC assists U.S. and Chinese businesses to identify and develop trans-national business and marketing opportunities. It organizes trade missions, seminars and workshops, and facilitates in-depth exploration and implementation of cross-border business development strategies and operations in the U.S. and China.
Business First is your one-stop shop for all of the statewide economic development programs New York has to offer. It is a business-focused portal to the wealth of incentives, programs and resources available to companies – large and small – within New York State and to those that choose to relocate here. The site is administered by Empire State Development, but dozens of other agencies are represented. Affiliated with the Business Outreach Center [BOC] Network, and sponsored by the Washington Heights and Inwood Development Corporation, the Upper Manhattan Business Outreach Center [BOC] offers a variety of services to small business owners and to entrepreneurs. These services include one-on-one business counseling, business legal services, marketing, loan programs, business training and technical assistance referral, and business plan / financial statement review. Affiliated with the Business Outreach Center [BOC] Network and sponsored by the Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation, the Greater Newark Business Outreach Center [BOC] offers a variety of services to small business owners and to entrepreneurs. These services include business plan development, access to financing, marketing, import / export information, entrepreneurial training and licensing and permit information. The Business Outreach Center Network (BOC Network) offers free counseling and referrals on all issues involved in starting and growing a business. After an initial intake and analysis of an ongoing or prospective business, counselors develop a needs assessment and work with clients to identify and take advantage of appropriate specialized services, programs, and financing sources. There are BOCs throughout the city with multilingual services. In Queens services are available in English and in Spanish. The BOC Women's Business Center (WBC) offers business training, one-on-one counseling and financing resources to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce
[CACCI] is a not-for-profit organization that promotes economic development among Caribbean-American / African-American, and other minority entrepreneurs. CACCI provides business development seminars, technical assistance, referrals, and training programs in how to start, operate, and manage a business. CACCI's Comprehensive Business Resource Center [separately listed and described] provides a variety of business services and programs. CACCI's international programs include trade missions and trade expositions to the Caribbean region, and international roundtable forums.
The Caribbean Trade Center's mission is to develop, promote and sustain trade and investment between New York, the United States, the Caribbean Region and the international community. Services include: Trade missions to the Caribbean Region and other international venues, meeting with key government and business leaders; Acting as a Clearing House for Trade and Investment Opportunities; Business-to-business interface via electronic membership database; Promotion of global e-commerce opportunities via CTC website; and Participation in specialty trade exhibitions, conferences and cultural programs in partnership with Caribbean trade promotion organizations.

EWVIDCO serves industrial businesses located in Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick. It offers general business development assistance; real estate, financing; ombudsman services; and employment job training and placement services through its affiliate Williamsburg Works. EWVIDCO manages the NYC North Brooklyn Industrial Business Zone and the Greenpoint-Williamsburg Industrial Business Zones, Williamsburg Valley In-Place Industrial Park, listed separately, and the NYS North Brooklyn / Brooklyn Navy Yard Empire Zone.
