Between the Lines: Samuel G. Freedman

Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Langston Hughes Auditorium

Breaking the Line brings to life the historic saga of the battle for the 1967 black college championship, culminating in a riveting, excruciatingly close contest. Author Samuel Freedman will talk about this story and its positioning within the Civil Rights Era. A book-signing will follow the talk. 

 

FIRST COME, FIRST SEATED
For all free events, we generally overbook to ensure a full house. All registered seats are released 15 to 30 minutes before start time, so we recommend that you arrive early.
