Talks at the Schomburg: Voices from the Americas

Join Maria Hinojosa, host of NPR's Latino USA and anchor of  PBS's Need to Know, for a conversation on the Latino American experience in contemporary literature and the current discourse on cultural identity for Latinos in America today. Hinojosa will be in conversation with Raquel Cepeda, award-wining journalist, cultural activist, and author of Bird of Paradise: How I Became Latina, and Daniel Alarcon, a native of Peru, PEN-Hemingway Award finalist and author of At Night We Walk in Circles: A Novel.

A book signing will follow the program.
