Education @ the Schomburg: Film: CITIZEN KING

For ages 5 to 12 years

To celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Schomburg Education presents the film Citizen King (WGBH, 2004) .  The film is a humanizing portrait of an American icon and it documents a crucial turning point in his life as he sets his sights beyond the civil rights movement and dedicates his life to becoming a champion for poor and an opponent to the war in Vietnam. (Running Time 120 minutes).  Free and open to the public.  All ages welcome. To register, email
