 Hopeville tells the story of Amos, a reformed alcoholic on a mission to forge a relationship with his son Themba. When both arrive in the dusty town of Hopeville, they discover a community with a long history of hate, corruption, fear and apathy. Through patience, determination and above all courage, Amos will strive to turn things around for himself, his son and his new community. 

Directed by John Trengove, 2012, 90 min, South Africa, Drama, English/ Zulu/ Sotho, Afrikaans with English subtitles.
