For ages 13 to 18 years
The Schomburg Junior Scholars invite teens to help them celebrate Gordon Park's 100th Birthday (born November 30, 1912). The day features an exclusive screening of the bio-pic Half Past Autumn: The Life and Works of Gordon Parks, guided tour of the exhibition Gordon Parks: 100 Moments, guest speakers, and a lively discussion about the vision and impact of this American icon. Recommended for middle and high school students. To register, email schomburged@nypl.org.
