Films @ the Schomburg: Films & Dialogue: Daisy Bates

January 14, 2012

Program Locations:

Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Scholar Center

While many places screen films, none gives you a screening and the Schomburg Experience! On the second and fourth Saturday of every month, the Schomburg offers a wide range of films and documentaries dealing with the global black experience. Each film will be introduced by a notable personality; afterwards there are opportunities to “talk back”—live and virtually on Twitter.

After the screening of Daisy Bates, join filmmaker Sharon LaCruise for a “talk back” with the audience.

Free! For registration, go or call (212) 491-2040.
