Kinokophone Recording Workshop

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, Third Floor Screening Room

Join Kinokophone and the Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound for an afternoon of audio exploration!  Investigate the library with your microphone and experiment with basic recording techniques! Find out more about one of the richest resources of recorded sound in the world! Participants are encouraged to bring a recording device.  A limited number of simple sound recording kits will be available for use during the workshop.

Participation is limited and requires registration.  

This workshop will begin and end in the Third Floor Screening Room.  A minimal amount of walking is involved in this workshop.
