The Interview with José Molina, conducted by Meira Goldberg, was audio recorded on May 18, 25 and June 1, 2010.
In this excerpt, José Molina remembers teaching Sevillanas in Miami, Florida, and the resistance he at first encountered from his students. Molina also discusses the importance of the use of the castanets and the challenges in learning to play them well.

Why is it that Meira Goldberg is interviewing Jose Molina.. she clearly knows nothing about flamenco, she interrupts him, not with intelligent questions she should have taken the trouble to prepair.. all she can do is make a strange laughing sound. Typical rubbish that one has come to expect from the staff at the 'Library' .. 'A center for learning'.... which is staffed by illiterate fools. Tragic.
