The Interview with Wendy Whelan, conducted by Nancy Reynolds, was video recorded by François Bernadi on October 12, 2011, for the Speaking of Dancing project.
 
This excerpt begins with Nancy Reynolds posing a question about a mid-career turning point noted by many of Wendy Whelan’s fans. In her surprising and inspiring answer, Whelan discusses how events in her personal life manifested themselves in artistic blossoming and changes in her quality of movement.
