This excerpt begins with a question, posed by interviewer Joshua Lubin-Levy, that he had in fact solicited from Okwui Okpokwasili, a performer who has worked with Dean Moss. Moss’ intricate reply gives us a window into the choreographer’s deepest concerns and creative intentions.
