Young Lions Tour of Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen
Program Locations:
Join fellow Young Lions for drinks and a private tour of the exhibition Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen. An icon of the silver screen, Hepburn’s theatrical career launched the actress’ climb to the top of Hollywood. Curator Barbara Cohen-Stratyner will guide us through Hepburn’s clothing, costumes, scripts, rehearsal notebooks, and correspondence giving rare insight into a performer's daily obstacles and accomplishments.
This exhibition has been organized by the Kent State University Museum in association with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts gratefully acknowledges the leadership support of Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman. Additional support for exhibitions has been provided by Judy R. and Alfred A. Rosenberg and the Miriam and Harold Steinberg Foundation.
