Money, Debt, and the Law 101

This program describes the legal rights and responsibilities of people who have unpaid debts, and the basics of going to court when you have been sued by a creditor for a household debt.

Marcy Einhorn is a New York attorney who speaks about money, debt, and the law to consumers, demystifying the legal system and motivating consumers to take responsibility for their unpaid debts. Ms. Einhorn has spoken to many different audiences about the topics of money, debt, and the law, including survivors of domestic violence, financial literacy volunteers, financial planners, and employee assistance professionals.
