"Semiology of Portolan Charts," with Zhennya Slootskin, a cartographer and web designer, who has created hundreds of maps concerning urban waterfront issues.
This illustrated lecture explores what the Mediterranean nautical charts from the Middle Ages, known as a Portolan charts, can tell us about the people that used them and the culture that created them.
