The Sensorium Saxophone Orchestra performs Terry Riley's "In C"

Please join us in the first floor corner room of Mid-Manhattan Library on Friday February 15th at 6 p.m. for The Sensorium Saxophone Orchestra who will be performing Terry Riley's "In C" as well as compositions by composer-conducter Benjamin Miller.

Benjamin Miller has explored psychedelic songwriting, spontaneous improvisation and notated scores in quasi-tonality for what seems like eons. His primary sound-makers are Guitar and Multiphonic Prepared Guitar, Alto and C-Tenor Saxophone, Tape and Electronic Manipulation and Voice.

He is currently giving workshops on Found Sound and Graphic Score Improvisation. He also teaches Fundamentals of Music both one on one and in groups for children and adults. Miller was raised in Ann Arbor MI having since formed and collaborated with various ensembles focusing solely on original music.

He has resided in the NYC metro area since 2003 and is currently a member of the Glenn Branca Ensemble.
