Wong Kar-Wai: Chungking Express

Please join us on Wednesday, January 9 at 7 p.m. for Wong Kar-wai's Chungking Express (1994, 103 min) in the first floor corner room of Mid-Manhattan Library.

This screening is part of the series Three Auteurs of World Cinema: Wong Kar-wai. All screenings are FREE and seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Chungking Express (1994) is a stylish, neo-noir romance written and directed by Wong Kar-wai. The film consists of two stories told in sequence, each about a lovesick Hong Kong policeman mulling over his relationship with a woman. The film stars Brigitte Lin, Takeshi Kaneshiro, and Tony Leung Chiu Wai.
