Author @ the Library: "A Secret History of Coffee, Coca & Cola," with Ricardo Cortés, an artist, writer, publisher and the illustrator of "Go the F*ck to Sleep."
Thursday, June 6, 2013, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Program Locations:
Mid-Manhattan Library (Map and directions)
Fully accessible to wheelchairs
This visual lecture explores the history behind coffee and cola, tempting the audience with secret plots, the true story behind coca-cola, and what coca-cola had to do with Prohibition (quite a bit, actually). It is a gloriously illustrated tale of hypocrisy and intrigue.
