Donald P. Johnson is a singer-songwriter and he has been making music for more than 30 years. In his youth he was an accomplished classical pianist and performed at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. Since then he has focused his music on the song form, with emphasis on the human voice as the avatar for truth and poetry. He will perform a set of "Work Songs", which he describes as "music in its most essential form." He will sing about struggle, pain, peace, and love.
