About the Clason's Point Library
The Clason's Point Branch of The New York Public Library, a modern spacious brick building located on Morrison Avenue between 172nd Street and Westchester Avenue, was opened in May 1974.
Fully accessible to persons who use wheelchairs, the one story facility houses an adult, young adult, and children's collection. A meeting room located at the rear of the library is available for community group meetings as well as library programs. Open to the public since 1952, the library was previously located at Harrod Place.
