Summer Science Club at Chatham Square Library!!

Join NYPL and the Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) this summer for our 7 week science club at Chatham Square Library! 

Children will make an amazing craft while learning aboutgears, pulleys, wheel and axles and much more.

You MUST sign up for each week separately.  Limit 20 children.  For ages 6 and older.

CMOM educators will lead weekly workshops exploring simple machines and their unique functions. Students will learn about gears, pulleys, wheel and axles and much more through hands-on demonstrations. They will also build models such as cars, planes and paddle boats, leading up to a culminating activity where they work collaboratively to build a Rube Goldberg mechanism. Presented by the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. 



All New York Public Library programs are free of charge.
