KidsLIVE  takes children and their families on an enriching cultural and educational journey—including musical performances, live theatre, opportunities to meet authors and illustrators, and much more. KidsLIVE programs feature presenters who reflect the rich diversity of New York City and help young audiences develop their creativity, talents, and love for learning.

TeenLIVE reaches teens culturally, artistically, inspirationally, technologically, and more with the biggest, best, and the brightest stars. TeenLIVE programs spotlight current cultural trends and important mainstays that inform the lives of today’s teens.

The Bilingual Birdies Band entertains and educates! Join us for a cultural celebration in Spanish. Expect to learn new words through live music and interactive games. We'll conclude with our bubble dance party where parents and children will be jumping up and down together! Vamos! For ages 2 to 6 with parent/caregiver.

Come and join in the fun with LuAnn Adams as she shares a rollicking collection of folktales from around the world! Her stories feature crocodiles, hedgehogs, monkeys and more! KidsLIVE presents "City That Drinks the Mountain Sky"

Wednesday, July 11, 2012, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
The epic story of NYC's water supply told in the elemental beauty of puppet theater. Where does the water that flows through New York City’s taps come from? In City That Drinks the Mountain Sky, Arm-of-the-Sea Theatre uses poetry, puppetry, and music to explain how water travels from the Catskill Mountains to millions of urban residents. For ages 5 and older.

TeenLIVE presents Young Dancemakers Company

Saturday, July 28, 2012, 2 - 4 p.m.

Teens take to the stage and perform their own original choreography in this exciting performance at the Library for the Performing Arts. Watch the moves and see the steps before you have a chance to ask questions. After the performance, a lucky few teens will have the opportunity to create their own dance and perform it onstage with the dance experts.
