Manhattan Research Library Initiative (MaRLI) Application Form

In order to increase accessibility to our combined collections, the libraries of Columbia University, New York University and the New York Public Library are offering eligible users the opportunity to borrow select materials from each of the three partner libraries based on the following criteria:

  • NYPL cardholder in good standing
  • Demonstrated research need
  • Requested materials are deemed appropriate for circulation

Please note

Any New York Public Library materials borrowed are subject to standard loan rules. Additionally, requested material will be evaluated for condition prior to lending and in some cases may be limited to in-library use only.

Any materials returned after the due date issued by the Library are subject to the fines and/or replacement costs of the owning institution.
