Get Your ID=
The New York Public Library is partnering with the New York City Mayor's office to help New Yorkers obtain government ID. This program is part of the Young Men's Initiative which aims to improve the quality of life of young black and Latino men in New York City.
Having a government ID will make it easier for all New Yorkers to:
- Apply for jobs
- Open up bank accounts
- Receive government benefits and services
Call 311 or visit nyc.gov/getyourid for more information.
Click below to get step-by-step information about applying for each type of ID.
