How to Apply

Applicants who accept an offer for a position with The New York Public Library are required to undergo a background check and drug screen. Information collected from the background checks is based on the nature of the position and may include some or all of the following: education verification, employment verification, criminal check, Denied Restricted Parties Lists or OFAC lists, fingerprint verification and Department of Motor Vehicle check. Candidates will be notified during the hiring process which checks will be performed.
