The winner of the 2015 National Design Award for Architecture Design, MOS principal architects Michael Meredith and Hilary Sample present a selection of the projects featured in their new book Selected Works. Following the presentation, they are joined by Amale Andraos for a conversation about the various facets of their design process and their catalog of work.

Having established themselves as one of the leading young architecture practices in the country, New York City-based firm MOS has created a portfolio of work that has been described as experimental and innovative. Following the 2013 release of Everything All At Once: The Videos, Software, and Architecture of MOS, Hilary Sample and Michael Meredith return with a new monograph chronicling their work over the past ten years.

MOS: Selected Works features thirty-two of the studio’s projects, focusing on work that’s been built or still in progress. Having designed everything from houses to pavilions, community centers, performance spaces, and schools, Selected Works showcases the evolution of MOS’s designs and their work across multiple scales and mediums. An engaging and visual overview of their architectural designs, the book also features a selection of the studio’s writings—from their satirical “Office Policy” employee manual to John McMorrough’s “MOS Practices...What the !@#?”

The book, itself a work of the studio, is as innovative as the architecture they create Projects are located throughout the United States and around world, including Boston; Derby, Connecticut; Las Vegas; Marfa, Texas; Miami; New York City; and Canada, France, Japan, Nepal, Norway, Spain, and more.

Copies of MOS: Selected Works (Princeton Architectural Press, 2016) are available for purchase and signing at the end of event.
