Money Matters: Wills and Advance Directives

Event Details

Stacey Pramer provides an introduction to life-planning documents, including wills, health care proxies, living wills and powers of attorney. Learn why these documents are important and how they can help you plan for the future.

Stacey Pramer is a volunteer attorney with the Cancer Advocacy and Elderlaw Projects of the City Bar Justice Center, the non-profit section of the New York City Bar Association. Both projects provide free legal services in the area of life planning for cancer patients and survivors who lack the financial resources to hire a lawyer. Through her volunteer work, Ms. Pramer has prepared life-planning documents for seniors and cancer patients and survivors, and has represented the Cancer Advocacy and Elderlaw Projects as a speaker at community outreach events, held throughout the City, to raise awareness of these important legal issues.  Ms. Pramer is a winner of the Jeremy G. Epstein Award for Pro Bono Service honoring volunteer lawyers for outstanding work on Justice Center projects.

Seating is on a first come, first seated basis.
