AARP Tax-Aide: Free Tax Assistance and Preparation
Doors open at 10:00 a.m. Tax filers will be assisted on a first come, first served basis.
Service cannot be guaranteed on any given day. However, you can return the following day/week or visit another of our over 25 sites in Manhattan or 3 sites in the Bronx. (www.nypl.org/tax help)
Be prepared - bring the following:
- Government Issued Photo ID
- Social Security Cards for you and all dependents
- All Income related items
- All Deduction related items
NEW: If you purchased health insurance through the marketplace, bring form 1095-A, and
dependents' proof of income.
Tuesdays - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Wednesdays - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
