First Fridays: First Fridays: "70s" Edition

The Schomburg Center is proud to present a special "70s” edition of First Fridays, our popular monthly social gathering! Commemorating the funkadelic era of the 70s, this event will pay tribute to the sounds, vibes, and fashion of the decade. 

Mix and mingle in the Langston Hughes Lobby as you enjoy our signature drinks while grooving to beats by DJ Sylk, with your host of the evening Dhalimu from Dhali’s Closet.

First come, first seated

For all free events, we generally overbook to ensure a full house. All registered seats are released 15 to 30 minutes before start time, so we recommend that you arrive early.
