For the 3rd summer, LPA has worked with Statement Arts, an after school program for adolescents. The 20 students from public high schools throughout the city learned how LPA can assist them in the current projects and throughout their careers in the arts. This summer's group included those aiming for careers in acting, dance, directing, design, and production. They got, renewed or cleared up their library cards and learned to find basic material (scripts, songs, scores, etc.) and supplementary materials on the plays and musicals selected for the summer. They also spent time in the current exhibitions Head Shots and Sinatra.
