David Mendels  reviews the differences among these professionals, how they are compensated, and what you are entitled to expect (and more importantly, what you are not entitled to expect) from each of them.

David is the Director of Planning for Creative Financial Concepts, LLC, where his focus is on creating cost-effective solutions for his clients. To achieve this goal, he uses the tools of financial analysis to design strategies that efficiently fit the available planning techniques to each client’s personal realities. David serves on the adjunct faculty of New York University, where he teaches financial planning to those seeking to become Certified Financial Planners®. David has an MBA from Columbia University, and is a Certified Financial Planner. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni of New York (where he serves as President), the Financial Planning Association (where he is a past President of the NYC Chapter and past Chair of the National Advocacy Committee), and The Estate Planning Council of the City of New York (where he is a past Director). Presented by the Financial Planning Association of New York.
