Basic Chinese Conversation - Level I

Program Locations:

Mid-Manhattan Library

Learn basic Mandarin Chinese!

No prior experience with the Chinese language required. Learn using the Mango Languages database on the New York Public Library website.
 
First session: Introduction and orientation to the Mango Languages program. In the following sessions the native speaking instructor reinforces and practices material covered in the Mango lessons. Accurate pronunciation is emphasized.
 
                                           10 Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
 
                            September 2*         September 30           November 4
                            September 9*         October 7                  November 18
                            September 16*      October 28                November 25
                            September 23        
 
                        *The first three classes will meet in the Corner Room on the first floor.
                          The  remaining classes will meet in  Room 101 on the first floor.
 
Drop-in participants are allowed; however learners are responsible for covering previous Mango lessons (usually 2 per session) on their own.
