Summer Poetry Readings with LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs, Justin Marks and Bianca Stone

Join the New York Public Library and Academy of American Poets  for an evening with LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs, Justin Marks and Bianca Stone. Poets will read poems from NYPL's Henry W. and Alfred A. Berg Collection of English and American Literature, as well as their own work.  

Justin Marks is the author of You’re Going to Miss Me When You’re Bored and A Million in Prizes, which was chosen by Carl Phillips as the winner of the 2009 New Issues Poetry Prize. He is co-founder of Birds, LLC and lives in Queens, New York.

Bianca Stone is the author of Someone Else’s Wedding Vows  and is also the illustrator of Antigonick, a collaboration with Anne Carson. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.

LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs is the author of TwERK,  and the  chapbook Manuel is destroying my bathroomShe has been a poetry editor for the online arts journal exittheapple and, with writer Greg Tate, is a founding editor of YoYo/SO4magazine.  Her honors include scholarships and residencies from the New York Foundation for the Arts, Cave Canem, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Harlem Community Arts Fund, the Jerome Foundation, the Eben Demarest Trust, Caldera Arts, Black Earth Institute, and the Barbara Deming Memorial Foundation. She lives in New York City.
