Make Music New York is the largest music event to grace New York City. A unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs, all on June 21st, the first day of summer. The New York Public Library will be hosting 40+ music programs throughout the neighborhood branches. Musicians of all ages and creeds from hip-hop to opera will be performing at various locations.
