 How to Write  A Book Proposal

             DOUG GARR

    In order to sell a non-fiction book, memoir, or a family history it takes an extensive outline to  convince a literary agent, editor, or publisher to consider your project.   In this session,    I'llexplain the process, from the development of your idea,writing the critical overview, the sample chapter, and the marketing    plan.

       Doug Garr is the author and co-author of several books, including an  acclaimed book  on IBM, 

             and  a   magazine   journalist. He was also a speechwriter for Gov. Mario M. Cuomo.
