"The creation of the castanets playing along with different types of rhythm is the representation of the cultural variation." Dalys Torres.

This performance incorporates creative movement and the percussive instrument: Castanets, to the Tango soundtrack rhythm music.

Born and raised in Panama, public school educator Dalys E. Torres developed the program "Percussion and Creative Movement for Women," and has developed an after school "Percussion" program for the Manhattan and Bronx NY Public Libraries and has helped children develop and improve their self-esteem.
