March 26, 2014

Go behind the scenes with professional museum educator and collector extraordinaire Harley Spiller to explore how and why people trust the Almighty Dollar. Use a magnet detector, an ultra-violet light, and other anti-counterfeiting devices to determine what’s real and what’s real fake. Spiller explores the mysterious active ingredient in counterfeit-detecting pens and shares little-known secrets behind U.S.currency. Still, he doesn’t know all the tricks so come prepared to handle actual counterfeits and sharpen your skills of intuition and detection.
