Poetry Inside Out: Bridging Cultures Through Language

Are you over 55? Do you Love Poetry? Sign up and have a chance to create your own  diverse, playful and thought provoking poems. Also, gain a genuine appreciation for the complexities of language and culture. This is an 8 week instructional poetry workshop which will be led  by Dave Johnson. The  9th week we will have a culminating  celebration of your work. Please be prepared to commit to all 9 weeks.  This is a program for adults 55 and over.

To sign up, please call the library or stop by the 2nd floor information desk to register.  We will draw 20 winning names on Feburary 28th at 11AM and contact each winner by phone and email.

These classes are funded with support from the New York State Coordinated Outreach Services Grant.
