Story Time for Grown-Ups - Featuring Alice Munro
Love a good story? Sit back and relax as we read you a story or two!
March 2014 — Featuring Alice Munro
Wednesday, March 19, 1:00 pm
Monday, March 24, 7:00 pm
Dance of the Happy Shades
No one really looks forward to the party Miss Marsalles gives every June for her piano students. (Some vestige of musical integrity prevents her from calling it a recital.) Miss Marsalles is older now and there are fewer students. Yet she insists on keeping the tradition.
Other March Story Time Dates -Wednesday, March 5, 1 p.m. and Monday, March 10, 7 p.m.
The narrator has recently read a short story written by her ex-husband, now a well-known author, and, surprisingly, she was impressed by it. After all these years, and despite all those memories, she should be able to congratulate him and let bygones be bygones. Shouldn’t she?
