Our Gay & AIDS Activist History: Connecting the Dots From Stonewall to the Present

March 18, 2014

Program Locations:

Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Margaret Liebman Berger Forum

Activist Bill Bahlman has been on the front lines of some of the most pivotal LGBT and AIDS social movements  of the past 40 years. Along with special guests Rich Wandel & Jamie Bauer, he will connect the dots and share insights into our history, much of which has never told before.
This is a one-time only multi-media event you will never forget. Learn about drama and the excitement of the founding and history of organizations that changed our world. Bill Bahlman will pull together common threads from:
Gay Activist’s Alliance - GAA
Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation - GLAAD
Coalition for Gay & Lesbian Rights - CLGR
Lavender Hill Mob
AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power - ACTUP
Rich Wandel, former President of the GAA (1972) and founder and coordinator of The National Archive of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender History
Jamie Bauer, former Chair of GLAAD’s Actions Committee and member of ACT UP NY
