Romance for Beginners with Alyssa Cole: Session II

We're back! After covering a wide range of topics, such as the history of romance, subgenres within romance, the structure of a romance novel, plotting, and characterization, we'll now be discussing additional techniques that will help you produce a great novel.

Monday, March 17: Dialogue

We'll be discussing the importance of dialogue to your novel, and how to find the right voice for your characters.

Monday, March 24: Description

Clunky description can make a reader put your book down and never pick it up again. We'll learn different ways of drawing the reader into the world of your characters.

Class meets on the 3rd floor. No registration is required!
