Priceless Pages: A Tour of the Rare Books Collection

March 4, 2014

Program Locations:

This event is full.

Behind a heavy wooden door, hidden away in the shelves of the Rare Books Collection, there are more treasures than you can imagine.  You’ll find the First Folio of William Shakespeare, the first Gutenberg Bible to come to the Americas, the first printing of the Declaration of Independence, and the first book printed in North America, known as the Bay Psalm Book.  These are just a few of the objects carefully tucked away in this special room.  Come and take an unforgettable tour with curator Michael Inman and enjoy a reception in the Rose Main Reading Room, exclusively for Young Lions.
