In conversation with Robert Santelli, Executive Director of the Grammy Museum, Beatles authority MARK LEWISOHN – author of the hugely acclaimed TUNE IN, volume one of the trilogy All These Years – looks at the impact of America on the Beatles in the period before they impacted on America. Also, connectedly, he looks at how Brian Epstein made breaking America an early goal of his Beatles management, and how there were frustrations before their seismic arrival.
