Clason's Point Library

Learn a new language with this interactive database that provides step by step lesson plans for 38 different languages. The Mango Basic course utilizes proprietary methodology, an engaging interface, and an easy, intuitive interactive tool to deliver practical conversational skills and valuable cultural insight for a foreign language. Lessons include strategically placed memory-building exercises to help users remember what they are learning in addition to critical thinking exercises, which help them to intuitively understand the language and adapt it to similar conversations. You can also download the mobile app for your personal device or use the program on your laptop or pc at home.

You will create a free profile in order to track your progress during your sessions in the library, at home or on your mobile device.

Basic computer skills are necessary including knowledge of the keyboard and the mouse. You must bring your own headphones or purchase some from the library. Please talk to the staff at the circulation desk to sign-up for this ongoing course. Start at anytime and continue until you feel you’ve mastered the language. An email account is required for using the site. If you don't have one we can assist you in setting up an email account.
